While I use the Dogtra IQ Remote Collar for training and love it, Dogtra needs to go back to the drawing board with this product. If you have a multi-dog household, as I do, your dog will be shocked when other dogs bark, which is entirely unfair. There is nothing in the manual that states this,but I know it to be true. If you want a great no-bark collar, use the Tritonics. Sorry Dogtra, you struck out on this one.

My 4 y.o. shih tzu startrd barking she. I moved to my new apt. Although its per friendly, neighbors don't take too kindly to incessant barking. After my second notice from the leading office, I was bound and determined to nip this issue in the bud. I would never have considered using this line of method, much preferring the idea of the spray type collar. However, when I went to purchase one at a reputable pet store,the sales associate advised me that they are not very effective and you can't return it if it doesn't work. He told me about this company and said they were the best. He was right. I received the collar quickly and with a money back guarantee. Using it in the lowest setting, my dog literally barked only one time. I have never had a problem if complaint since! For those doubters ( I was one), this really does the job, and quickly. No eviction notice for me!

I'm purchasing a third collar for our German Shepherd. I thought I could use a small one for him too but I guess it wasn't strong enough. Works well with both of our small dogs but did discover that any barking near by activates the stimulation for the dog wearing the collar and that is not fair.

I got this collar for my 2 year old mini daushund.I only had to put the collar on the 1st setting and it did the job. at one point the collar was turned to the 2 and it was too strong and made my dog cry. after its first use my dog learned quick and would wine instead of bark. the bad things are the collar is to big for a small dog. a dog can not wear this and lay down . its just to bulky. also the collar is said to only go off if the dog that wears it barks. that is not true. so if you have more than one dog the collar will go off and thats not far to the dog that has the collar on.
