They also give you 3 types of stimulation – the Nick button gives a quick burst that lasts only a fraction of a second, the Constant button gives a steady stimulation for as long as the button is held (up to 8 seconds), and the Pager button vibrates the collar giving a non-electrical type correction for finesse training, or quick reminders. Each unit features rechargeable batteries, waterproof receiver, water-resistant transmitter, extra contact points and charger. Model 175NCP is recommended for pets and medium breed sporting dogs with a range of up to 400 yards, and has a one-year warranty.

This collar helped many dogs from bad habits. I have a shih tzu and she would bolt out the door. In one day on the collar she doesn't do that anymore and also, It's great for teaching boundries when outside and not on a leash. Since purchasing the collar 5years ago I have worked with many dogs with this collar and the owners are happy with the results in very little time.

Our Boston Terrier was born deaf. It took us awhile to learn to communicate with her. This collar was the answer. It works like a charm. The pager is wonderful.

This was recommended to me after my dog had learned all her manners as a fine tuning tool and it has worked well. Her more difficult behaviors required more attention with the collar but it has helped to eliminate those as well. I was skeptical before I bought this after having dogs my whole life but I am sold.

This tool is excellent, if you take the time to positvely reinforce good behavior after interrupting bad. Variable stimulus is awesome, we have ours set to a level that just barely grabs Coops attention, then we redirect him.
Stongly recommend, but do your homework on how to use consistently. Coop is excited everytime we take this out and put it on him.
